C& Artists’ Editions is a program of specially commissioned editions by collaborating artists who have been part of the C& network since its launch in 2013.
C& Artists’ Editions offer ad-hoc art lovers as much as aspiring and well-versed collectors an accessible, collectible portfolio of works by younger as well as older generations of artists from Africa and the Global Diaspora. All proceeds directly support the artists and C&’s future programs.
Zohra Opoku created her C& Artists’ Edition in her Accra studio – each of the 25 works screen-printed and hand embroidered by the artist.
Hand printed by the artist at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, the work depicts typical dutch clouds, plants and a dreamscape with mystical messengers.
With her cardboard cut-outs of photos, Kganye creates the illusion of an entire world that can be moved, changed, and shifted.
amanze has created a series of thirty unique prints with hand-applied elements that mirror her interest in the quiet play between these elements and their ability, once combined, to alter perceptions of space.
Kiwanga’s work traces the impact of power asymmetries. In Proximity (2019) she looks at the urbanisation of Morocco in a colonial context.
