Artists’
Editions

C& Artists’ Editions is a program of specially commissioned editions by collaborating artists who have been part of the C& network since its launch in 2013.

C& Artists’ Editions offer ad-hoc art lovers as much as aspiring and well-versed collectors an accessible, collectible portfolio of works by younger as well as older generations of artists from Africa and the Global Diaspora. All proceeds directly support the artists and C&’s future programs.

C& Artists' Editions #3

Lebohang Kganye

With her cardboard cut-outs of photos, Kganye creates the illusion of an entire world that can be moved, changed, and shifted and in which the main protagonists travel between different realities.

C& Artists' Editions #1

Kapwani Kiwanga

Kiwanga’s work traces the pervasive impact of power asymmetries by placing historic narratives in dialogue with contemporary realities, the archive, and tomorrow’s possibilities. In Proximity (2019) she looks at the urbanisation of Morocco in a colonial context.

C& Artists' Editions #2

ruby oyinyechi amanze

amanze has created a series of thirty unique prints with hand-applied elements that mirror her interest in the quiet play between these elements and their ability, once combined, to alter perceptions of space.
