The Team of ART X Lagos announced today, that the upcoming edition of 2020 will be postponed to an unknown date. In light of the recent protests in Nigeria against police brutality, it is a symbol of respect and solidarity for the ones who left their lives.

« We have watched with deep sadness the heartbreaking events of the past week, including the violence perpetrated against peaceful protesters in Lagos and across other parts of the country. »

ART X Lagos was created in 2016 by Tokini Peterside, a Nigerian entrepreneur, to showcase and support contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. It draws local patrons and a host of international collectors, curators, and critics annually.
