Recently, more and more organizations had to put up paywalls between themselves and their communities. We won’t do that. Not now, not ever. But for the cosmos to be eternal we need your help ensuring we exist in the future. We have so much more to bring to the world. So many hungry ideas, lucid dreams and visions to chase. And that’s why we need you!

Independence — every year our team spends countless hours filling out funding applications and making sure our work aligns with the goals of our funders. Your support frees us from this dynamic and enables us to let our imaginations lead the way.

Expansion — our magazines C& Magazine and C& América Latina Magazine, read in 120 countries, include texts in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Your support widens our offering beyond colonial languages and allows us to grow our global community of local creatives based in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, the US, and Europe.

Increased capacity — all too often, tight budgets influence and limit our editorial and creative decision making. Your support expands our potential, enabling us to create more content and develop more projects.

Creating more space — C& holds space for points of view on contemporary art production not seen anywhere else. Your support ensures we can continue to train and platform young practitioners from Africa and the Global Diaspora.

Fair renumeration — all C& texts are produced by young art writers from Africa and the diaspora and read by a truly global readership. C& has always been committed to paying our contributors fairly. Your support ensures we can continue doing that and that access to our archives remains accessible.
