Kenya Art Fair (from 10th- 13th November 2016) is calling for artworks for the ‘Wasanii Exhibition’
This exhibition is designed for the young and upcoming artists, giving them a chance to showcase their talent and the opportunity to hang artwork alongside some of the biggest household names in the art industry.
Any artists who would like to participate in the Wasanii Exhibition should submit the following:
•3 digital JPEG images of artwork you would like to exhibit (Artwork must be in JPEG format or the artists submission will not be considered).
•Size of artwork should not be below or exceed the following measurements.
2D artworks: 50 x 50 cm to 150 x 150 cm
3D artworks: 50 x 50 x 50 cm to 150cm x 1500 cm x 150 cm.
•Artist Biography and Profile.
•Details of the art piece: Title, Medium, Price and Size
•Contact details i.e. mobile number
•Works must be original and never been presented elsewhere before.

Selection Process.
There will be a selection process that will involve 2 stages.
Selection Process 1: After submission of artwork via email, a selected committee will make the first selection of artworks submitted via email. Artists will then be contacted to drop off their artwork at the Kuona Trust Office.
Selection Process 2: A final selection will then be done by the same committee of the physical artwork that has been submitted. Artists will be notified if their artwork has made it to through the final selection. These works will then be exhibited in the Wasanii exhibition during the Kenya Art Fair 2016. Once the fair is done artists will be expected to collect their artworks by the 25th of November 2016.
Final works selected must be framed or in a ready to hang condition.

Deadlines for Submission via email: September 23rd 2016.
Deadline to submit artwork for final selection: Once you have been notified that your work has been selected, artwork must be dropped off at Kuona Trust no later than September 30th 2016.
Sale of Artwork: A commission of 20% shall be taken for every artwork sold during the Wasanii Exhibition.
