Curator Nicola Vassell, former director at both Deitch Projects and Pace, presents BLACK EYE a wide-ranging exhibition, featuring paintings, photographs and collage by 26 emerging and established black artists.

According to the project’s Facebook page ‘BLACK EYE is a 21st century black identity experience. It explores contemporary notions of gender, sexuality, transculturalism, and politics through the lens of the world’s leading black creatives. It is a multi-generational journey through the shifting dynamics of race over the last 20 years.’
