The exhibition Africans in America is held across Goodman Gallery’s Johannesburg location and the Johannesburg Art Gallery. Together with it’s partner exhibition Where We Are at Goodmann Gallery in Cape Town, Africans in America is presented in association with the major international conference Black Portraiture[s] III: Reinventions: Strains of Histories and Cultures .
Africans in America is part of In Context 2016, an ongoing curatorial series that the gallery initiated in 2010.
