From 10 November until 6 December 2014 Dakar Partcours will hold its third Edition. For three years now, Dakar’s contemporary art spaces have joined together to create a chain of events moving across the map of the city.

Partcours is an evolving space allthough there are fewer venues participating this time. But there are new collaborations taking root and new partnerships forming. Gradually proceeding down a path of discovery in contemporary art, the event is a shared effort that we would like to present to the public as an act of resistance. Partcours invites attendees to build connections and hopes to stir up energy that will propel the arts forward, both in Dakar and around the continent.

Thirteen art openings will be held over the course of the month, tracing a path through the city. Each location has free reign over its programming, and each event has its own content and its own line-up. Taking place at the same time several large events that are not part of Partcours will accompany the programme.
