Key Requirements
The successful candidates will have a record of engagement with the art and visual cultures of one or more regions in the Global South (broadly defined, but including regions in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Americas, Oceania and the Caribbean). The UCL is looking to attract suitable applicants from Art History and related disciplines such as Film and Media Studies, Cultural Geography, Visual Anthropology, Visual Culture Studies, Performance Studies, Architecture, Aesthetics and Art Theory. UCL seeks candidates from a broad range of period specialisms and with interests in innovative conceptual approaches, who are able to connect their areas of expertise to larger intellectual and methodological frameworks
