Jack Bell opened his London gallery in February of 2010. Bell represents artists from around the world with a special emphasis on artists from Africa and Southern Asia.
Works exhibited in the gallery span a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, and, in particular, photography. There is also a noticeable tendency to favor art that engages with the prevailing political context and reflects developments in society.
Jack Bell puts on approximately ten large survey exhibitions a year in his gallery and helps his artists show their work in important international museums and galleries, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo or the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Saatchi Gallery in London.
