Global Crit Clinic is a global network working to diversify the field of fine art. This is done by making tools available to artists, improving their chances of participating in a rapidly developing (art) world.
The intensive 10-day courses called “clinics” teach critical skills and professional practice. Conceptualised by Kianga Ford and Shane Aslan Selzer, these workshops offer the basis of contemporary art education. After the clinics were launched in 2011 as a pilot programme in Lagos, Nigeria, they now take place across the continent.
