Nicène Kossentini (Tunis, 1976) lives and works in Sfax. She graduated from the Fine Arts Institute of Tunis and the Marc Bloch University of Strasbourg. She followed training courses at the National Studio of Contemporary Art ‘Le Fresnoy’ and at the School of Imagery ‘Les Gobelins’ in France.
She focuses her experimental work on video production, seen as a poetic interpretation of the fugacity of time and the elements.
