LOATAD is looking for smart, creative people who are passionate about African and Diaspora literature and literary culture to join their team, both physically, in Accra, Ghana, and remotely from anywhere in the Diaspora.

The Interns are an integral part of #TeamLOATAD and work across the range of our projects. You could be editing publications, researching and writing literary exhibition texts, updating any of our project websites, or compiling the LOATAD newsletter. You will also assist with the administration and communication of the LOATAD brand. They’re especially looking for people with excellent research, writing and reading skills who love to learn, and are prepared to work on multiple tasks.

They work using a range of digital communications tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, email and WhatsApp, and welcome applications from across Ghana, Africa, and the Diaspora.

You must be a university student or graduate, be able to work at least one day a week, and be able to commit to the Internship for at least 6 months. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview, either online for Remote Interns or in person in Accra for Physical Interns. These positions are paid.
