MARKK in Motion – Artist Talk with Kelvin Haizel

Talk with Kelvin Kweku Haizel, artist, and the curators Martha Kazungu and Gabriel Schimmeroth.

Kelvin Haizel’s work in the exhibition “Archive of Experiences” as part of the 8th Triennial of Photography is the starting point for the conversation with the curators of the exhibition.

Kelvin Haizel, PhD student at the College of Art in Kumasi, photographer and artist from Ghana, was a fellow at MARKK in October 2021 as part of the “MARKK in Motion” program.

Kelvin Haizel (b. 1987) is currently a PhD student at KNUST College of Art in Kumasi and a member of the blaxTARLINES KUMASI and Exit Frame collectives. He is a Ghanaian artist whose visual experiments go beyond the visual to include sonic and haptic forms.
