Flaggfabrikken Center for Contemporary Art is offering the opportunity to undertake a one month residency for three artists in Bergen, Norway at the Christinegård Villa. Two separate groups will be selected in 2016 through the crowdsourced curation system Curatron. More details on the residencies.

–Nordic Baltic Residents (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) are invited to apply for the September 1 to 31 period. Each artist receives travel costs (Maximum 250 €), accommodation, per diem 20 EUR per day, studio and accommodation. Application deadline: May 18

–International artists are invited to apply to the October 1 to 31 period. Each artist receives travel costs (Maximum 500 €), accommodation, per diem 20 EUR per day, studio and accommodation. Application deadline: May 25

EXHIBITION PROGRAM @ PLATFORM STOCKHOLM

Platform Stockholm is offering the opportunity for artists to exhibit in our gallery in Stockholm, Sweden. Two separate groups of three will be selected in 2016 through the crowdsourced curation system Curatron. Each artist receives travel costs, accommodation, per diem, studio and accommodation. –International artists are invited to apply to the November 1 to 30 period. Application deadline: May 30

Curatron

The Curatron software system will be used as our method to define the artists within the group of the residency. Curatron is an online software tool developed to involve artists directly in the curatorial selection process. Each artist applying for the residency can view the entire pool of applicants and select other applicants they would like to spend their residency with. Curatron then calculates the final group from every applicants selection.
