Residency at Residency Unlimited, New York, USA
Caribbean Art Initiative and Residency Unlimited (RU) are partnering to offer a two-month residency for a Caribbean artist at Residency Unlimited, in Brooklynn, from August to September 2019.
supports the creation, presentation and dissemination of contemporary art through its unique residency program and year-round public programs, facilitated through strategic partnerships with collaborating institutions. Residents benefit from a diverse network of partners, which allows for flexibility, customization and access to a wide range of services and resources including but not limited to studio/workspaces.
The residency includes: studio space; weekly studio visits with art professionals (curators, art writers, gallery directors); site visits to New York based artist studios, galleries and museums; Immersion into a community of international and American artists in residence; public programming; accommodation; support from the Caribbean Art Initiative Team
The Residency will provide participating artists an opportunity to build on their practice while living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Residency Unlimited ensures opportunities for residents, such as networking and becoming involved in the New York art scene. RU fosters customized residency environments for artists and curators in all disciplines and at all stages of practice.

Residency at Gasworks, London, UK
Caribbean Art Initiative and Gasworks are partnering to offer a three-month residency for a Caribbean artist at Gasworks, in London, from October to December 2019.
Gasworks residencies are opportunities for an artistic exchange and experimentation, focusing on process-based and artist-led research. Gasworks encourages artists to pursue new research and widen their networks to support the development of their practice.
The residency includes: 24-hour access to a fully accessible studio at Gasworks, with other visiting artist and permanent studio holders; an Open Studio, or similar public presentation; accommodation within Gasworks Residencies House; travel Card (Zone 1+2) for travel within central London for the duration of the residency; administrative, pastoral and curational support from Gasworks and from the Caribbean Art Initiative Team.
