Screen spirit_continued presents two videos by the artist Séraphin Zounyekpe. He lives in Benin. Zounyekpe has already presented his videos – some of them award-winning – in Belgium, Switzerland, China and Croatia. He was also invited to the Talent Campus of the Berlin Film Festival in 2006.

His trademark are short little observations in his home country, rendering the peculiarities of everyday stories that are not at all ordinary. They mainly have the features of documentaries. The two one-minute videos L`AUTRE CÔTÉ and TRAVELLING chosen for Bremen transcend the purely documentary and transform the content to another aesthetic level by means of small digital effects.
