Krupp-Foundation announces two scholarships for Contemporary German Photography. With the Photographic Collection of the Museum Folkwang, the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Foundation is again awarding two scholarships for the Contemporary German Photography program. The scholarships are endowed with 10,000 euros each and are awarded for a period of one year.
Photographers from all areas of artistic practice can apply for the funding program. Applicants must have lived in Germany for at least three years but do not need German citizenship. There are no age or training restrictions. The application must be made in connection with a planned photographic project. This project may already have started and must be completed within a year. From August 22, 2022, applications can be submitted via the online application portal of the Krupp Foundation. The deadline for submitting the application documents is October 24, 2022.
The grant, which has existed since 1982, is one of the most renowned awards for contemporary photography in Germany. With the open funding program, the Krupp Foundation promotes a contemporary visual examination of photographic perspectives and representations; the Photographic Collection of the Museum Folkwang is in charge of the programme. Application deadline: October 24, 2022
