Paris Photo, the world’s leading international art fair for the photographic medium, is now accepting gallery and publisher applications for the 23rd edition at the historic Grand Palais in Paris Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10 with a preview day on Wednesday, November 6.
The Fair will bring together more than 180 exhibitors across 5 sectors, offering collectors and enthusiasts the most diverse and qualitative presentation of photography-driven projects today. Leading galleries will showcase historical and contemporary artworks from modern masters to emerging artists; specialized publishers and art book dealers will present unique and rare editions, book launches and artist signature sessions with today’s greatest names. Main Sector Galleries present a complete panorama of artworks with a special emphasis on solo, duo shows, and thematic projects offering visitors the opportunity to discover and rediscover leading artists through the viewing of an important artistic ensemble.
PRISMES showcases in the prestigious Salon d’Honneur, 14 exceptional large-format, series, and installation projects exploring the photographic medium in its most diverse forms.
Curiosa is a thematic sector launched last year, which brings to focus different trends, genres, or artist practices in image-based art. For this second edition, the sector will spotlight emerging art and bring to the forefront 14 projects by artists having recently benefited from a first personal exhibition.
The Film sector highlights the relationship between still and moving images in artistic creation. Applications are open to galleries applying conjointly to one of the above sectors. Screenings are held in the mk2 Grand Palais cinema.

The exhibitor selection is made by the Paris Photo Selection Committee according to the strictest standards for quality, authenticity and diversity of propositions. To apply for PARIS PHOTO 2019, applicants must log in and complete our online form. The application fees must be paid online (€ 318 VAT included) and are non-reimbursable. For multiples fair sector applicants, a one-time-only application fee will be charged.
The Public Programme is a central aspect of the fair providing visitors with first-hand insights and access to the art world. The programme includes curated exhibitions with renowned public and private collections. Assist in the Platform Conversation series exploring the unique history of the medium; varying visions, and emerging trends. Don’t miss the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards and Carte Blanche Students, and more throughout Paris in the In Paris During Paris Photo programme reuniting a dense network of cultural institutions, including major museums, arts centers, and private foundations housing some of the world’s most historically rich photographic collections.
