Gallery Momo presents the panel discussion Regarding Women. Nontobeko Ntombela, Ayana V Jackson, Mary Sibande, Shatema Threadcraft and Donna Kukama will talk about the representation of the female body in photographic practice.
The presentations will range from a look into the history of portraiture, self-portraiture and performance of thand by woman through to feminist theories on embodiment via examinations of artists working in the medium today.
