The São João Residency Program is an independent project focused on intensive development of work, processes and experiences, based on the identification of shared interests and the establishment of partnerships between residents.

The 3# edition of the residency will take place between September 8th and October 5th 2014 and offers a full funding for one project in the field of agriculture (growing a vegetable garden, research in permaculture) and / or ecology (ecological education, research in botanic, etc.).

Who can apply: farmers, artists, musicians, performers, dancers, writers, architects; researchers on art and other fields: social sciences, economy, biology… and anyone else interested in this residency format. Brazilians and foreigners are welcome.

Requirements: Availability to participate in the full residency program (approximately one month-long).

Costs: 950 Brazilian Reais (approximately 420 American dollars or 310 Euros). It includes accommodation, meals, washing and cleaning service, and transportation in farm’s the region. (Please note that exchange rates may vary).
