MyAfrica Photo Competition

Mo Ibrahim Foundation
Deadline: 03 June 2016

MyAfrica Photo Competition

As MIF begins its 10th anniversary celebrations/journey, all Africans are invited to take part in a photo competition.

MyAfrica is an opportunity for photographers of all abilities and ages to capture their vision of Africa through their own lenses. MIF is seeking images that capture Africa in its many diverse settings and communities, depicting what developments, challenges and opportunities could potentially look like over the next 10 years. For MIF, turning 10 isn’t only about looking back at its history – it’s also about looking ahead and thinking about Africa in the future. The theme is open to your personal interpretation but we’re looking for beautiful, inspiring and original photographs.

The collection will ultimately become part of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. A selection of the best photographs will be displayed at MIF’s 10 year anniversary celebration in October, with prizes of $10,000 USD for the top three entries.
