Frieze New York will return to Randall’s Island Park, Manhattan from May 9 to 12, 2014. The third edition of the New York fair will feature over 190 of the world’s leading contemporary galleries, with 53 participants from the fair’s host city.

The 2014 fair brings to the city the most exciting contemporary galleries from across the globe, alongside critically acclaimed Projects, Talks, Sounds and Education programs.

Frieze Talks is a daily program of lectures, conversations, and panel discussions that takes place in the auditorium at Frieze New York, programmed in 2014 by Tom Eccles (Executive Director of the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College) and Christy Lange (Associate Editor, frieze). Frieze Talks invite discussions of some of the most hotly debated issues in visual arts today by exploring connections with politics, writing, and filmmaking and bringing together a range of voices, from artists and curators to filmmakers and musicians.

Participants include: Masha Alekhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot / Zona Prava; Okwui Enwezor, Artistic Director of the 56th Venice Biennale; Kenneth Goldsmith, poet and author; Joshua Oppenheimer, director of The Act of Killing (2012); and Adam Szymczyk, Artistic Director of documenta 14.
