Fire Island Artist Residency 2016 for LGBTQ artists

Now in its fourth season in the secluded community of Cherry Grove, NY, an historic LGBTQ settlement of Fire Island, five emerging artists will share a live/work space for a four-week program marked by intimate studio visits with, and public lectures by, renowned leaders in contemporary art and curation.

LGBTQ emerging visual artists demonstrating new perspectives in contemporary visual art are encouraged to apply. Non-US citizens with fluency in English are also encouraged to apply.

2016 Program Dates:
July 23 – August 18, 2016
