Creative Week is an annual celebration of creativity, innovation and culture.

Creative Cape Town communicates, supports and facilitates the development of the creative and knowledge economy in the central city of Cape Town through key partnerships – with the vision of making the central city a leading centre for knowledge, innovation, creativity and culture in Africa and the South.

Crowdsourced by Capetonians and coordinated by Creative Cape Town, Creative Week is an opportunity to experience the city’s energy and diversity while the Loeries, the annual showcase of the region’s best in brand communication, are in town.

From 14 to 22 September 2013, architects, artists, crafters or copywriters, filmmakers, funders or friends of the creative community are invited to turn the city inside out. From street art to outdoor exhibitions, demonstrations to lectures, parties to public space activations – all independently organised by Creative Week participants.
