Art Connect Film is a month long public programme at Tiwani Contemporary focusing on video works by multi-disciplinary artists Jude Angowih, Mwangi Hutter and Uche Okpa-Iroha and Joy Elias-Rilwan.

Tiwani Contemporary will screen the artists’ films on select days throughout the month and respectively explore each artist’s diverse dialogue concerning migratory displacement, ecological misuse of resources, as well as human elasticity. The opening evening will present all the films concurrently. The programme will conclude on Saturday 28 September, when all the films will be again screened.

Wednesday, the 18th of September
Joy Elias-Rilwan will host a discussion about her film Joy It’s Nina (2012) from 6:30-8:30pm. She will be joined by Director Jane Thorburn and Music Editor James Lascelles. The film will be screened at 6:45pm.
