Amakaba is a space for art, science and spirituality located in the Amazonian Forest.
Cohabiting with an exuberance of life forms and learning from the wisdom and rhythm of the land, the environment has much to teach if we are humble enough to listen. Amakabas commitment to honoring the forest and preserving its wealth goes hand in hand with allowing it to provide food and shelter. Agriculture can thrive in the forest. With an agroecological approach, Amakaba is planning to set up a cacao farm and a natural dye garden, alongside meliponiculture (bee keeping of native Amazonian bees). We are currently nursing cacao seedlings in our nursery, searching for farm land.
