Zoulikha Bouabdellah grew up in Algeria and studied at the Ecolé nationale supérieure d’arts de Cergy-Pontoise in France. Her works in the form of installations, drawings, videos or photographs reveal a feminist perspective on religion, cultural hybridity and globalization. Her recent work uses love letters to speak about the status of women.
