The next edition of Untitled, Miami Beach will take place on the beach at Ocean Drive and 12th Street, December 5 — 9, 2018.
Untitled, Art is an international, curated art fair founded in 2012 that focuses on curatorial balance and integrity across all disciplines of contemporary art. Untitled, Art innovates the standard fair model by selecting a curatorial team to identify, and curate a selection of galleries, artist-run exhibition spaces, and non-profit institutions and organizations, in dialogue with an architecturally designed venue.
The international curated art fair embarks on its seventh edition in Miami Beach with a dynamic roster of 133 international exhibitors from 30 countries and 56 cities. This year’s edition of the fair will welcome 46 new exhibitors from around the globe including galleries from Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Italy, Peru, Switzerland, and Zimbabwe as well as a continuing strong presence of galleries from Europe, and Latin and North America.
Untitled, Art provides the opportunity to discover a diverse range of works by emerging, established and historical artists from around the world. For the fair’s seventh edition Artistic Director, Omar Lopez-Chahoud, under the direction of Executive Director, Manuela Mozo, worked with AGUAS, an artist-run curatorial platform to curate a cohesive presentation of distinctive works and artist projects.
You can find the complete list of exhibitors for the seventh edition of Untitled, Art in Miami Beach here and the full programming here.
One highlight is Serge Attukwei Clottey‘s solo booth with Gallery 1957. The artist recently unveiled a monumental, site specific installation at the Facebook HQ in San Francisco. And a curated section from Larry Ossei Mensah and artist Lizania Cruzm, who ask how we can share in a reflective and representative way the complexity and humanity of immigrants’ stories in an era fueled by generalizations and incendiary rhetoricin.
In addition and for the first time Untitled Art is pleased to announce the debut of the Otazu Art Prize, presented in partnership with the Fundación Otazu of Navarra, Spain. The award will consist of up to $20,000 for the acquisition of an artwork that will become part of the permanent collection of Fundación Otazu. The acquired work will be selected from the artworks presented by the 133 international exhibitors, representing 55 cities and 29 different countries, at the fair’s seventh edition in Miami Beach.
