START Art Fair 2015

START Art Fair, presented by Prudential, returns to the Saatchi Gallery from 10 – 13 September 2015

Delivering a high profile platform for emerging artists and new art scenes from around the world,  is a new annual art fair that takes place across all three floors of the Saatchi Gallery in London. By providing an elegant environment with museum-quality spaces, START aims to shine a spotlight on emerging artists and new art scenes, creating a program that enables collectors, curators and the greater public to discover new artistic talent.

The ground and first floors at Saatchi Gallery will host 38 galleries from across the globe – with representation from cities that range from Seoul to New York, Cape Town to Riga – all of whom will showcase the best of their gallery rosters with an emphasis on artists who are new to London.

The 2015 edition of START Projects takes over the whole of the second floor at Saatchi Gallery with curator-lead solo presentations and group exhibitions; including a fully immersive digital art presentation by Japanese ultra-technologists teamLab, the debut UK solo show of Prudential Eye Award winners Chim?Pom and a curated section of solo presentations called ‘This Is Tomorrow.’

‘This Is Tomorrow’ is a series of solo artist presentations selected by START’s Fair Director, Niru Ratnam. The section focuses on artists whose work is rooted in the contemporary either through the way they work, their subject matter or the context in which they work.
