Transart Institute for Creative Research is pleased to announce two new IDEA scholarships for our three month Academy program (April – June). The Academy offers trans-local, non-credit courses of supported, independent creative research. Expect to connect and exchange with an international group of creative practitioners and researchers in intimate scale settings. As an Academy student Transart Institute will work with you to develop a bespoke, dedicated advisory team who you will work with in monthly meetings. In addition, you will attend a Transart weekend intensive session, including topical, thematic workshops, seminars, screenings, talks, colloquia, panels, interviews, movement, somatic, sound, and/or research training sessions take place the last weekend of every month. You may also participate in open-ended research, critique, or topic-based groups and optionally attend a micro-residency in July, visiting DOCUMENTA 15 & the 12th Berlin Biennale. MFA/PhD proposal development support is also available. Transart’s IDEA Academy Scholarships have been conceived to support projects which use creative research to address questions of inclusion, diversity, equality and access in the arts.
