The Cabo Verde International Photography Festival aims to promote contemporary artistic creation, by opening this space for the dissemination of photographic work of local and international photographers.

The Open Call FIFCV is open for submissions for the 2014 exhibition programme ( from 14 November  – 12 December 2014). This is an opportunity for the dissemination of your photographic work, side-by-side with important names from the international art scene, and will provide visibility to international professionals, curators or gallery owners.

The team of curators from FIFCV will select submissions in two different phases:

1. Broad selection for dissemination on the FIFCV’s Facebook page;

2. Selection of the best projects for production and installation as part of the exhibition programme of FIFCV.

SUBMISSIONS:

Send 6 to 15 photographs to opencall2014@fifcv.com, together with the following information:

– Author name

– Nationality

– E-mail address

– Website (optional)

– Biography

– Project title

– Year of production

– Work statement

DEADLINE:

Submissions will be accepted from August 19 to Septemper 22.
