It’s September 11, 2001. George W. Bush is sitting in an elementary school in Florida reading a book with the children. News of the terrorist attack reached him in the middle of class. The pictures go around the world and the children, all people of color, become a media event. What happened to you almost 20 years later? The everyday life of the meanwhile young adults is characterized by a lack of opportunities, precarious family relationships and police violence. “9/11 Kids – The Changed America” shows in impressive portraits the conflicts that have grown over decades and recently erupted in the “Black Lives Matter” protests …
