For the very first time, VIDEONOMAD is travelling to Southern Africa to showcase in Zimbabwe . VIDEONOMAD takes place from 13 to 15 October 2016 at Njelele Art Station in Harare.
Over the course of three days, video artists will engage with the city through a programme of public screenings , talks and workshops, culminating with a Video Art Party at Njelele Art Station, on Saturday 15 October, at 6pm.
VIDEONOMAD is dynamic series of programming includes riveting masterclasses and talks with invited artists from South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, and our public screening showcases a powerful selection of works from across the diaspora.
Artists: Berry Bickle, Bogosi Sekhukhuni, Cosmo Zengeya, Dineo Seshee Bopape, Fransix Tenda, Kitso Lynn Lelliot, Kombo Chapfika, Lerato Shadi, Lucia Nhamo, Mario Macilau, Masimba Hwati, Nontsikelelo Mutiti, Simon Gush, Tabita Rezaire.
VIDEONOMAD aims to establish a dynamic synergy of video art makers from across the continent that enriches the global art scene. The international artist film screening has taken place in Tunis, Dakar, Tokyo, Pesaro, Salvador de Bahia and Kalamata, and now brings a diverse programme to Harare.
