Heranças de um Brasil profundo

Exposição no Museu Afro Brasil reúne obras de arte e objetos de diversos povos indígenas brasileiros.

A exposição Heranças de um Brasil profundo, organizada pelo Museu Afro Brasil, com curadoria de Emanoel Araujo, reúne mais de 500 objetos entre obras de arte e utensílios da cultura material indígena de raiz brasileira. Fazem parte da mostra, além de obras de arte contemporânea, objetos de arte plumária, adornos, máscaras e utensílios de diversos povos indígenas, como: Karajá, Marubo, Kayapó, Mehinako, Yanomami, Rikbaktsa, Tapirapé, Waurá, Tapayuna, Baniwa, Ashaninka, Parakanã, Panará e Juruna.

Heranças de um Brasil profundo apresenta ainda o trabalho de fotógrafos que documentam populações indígenas brasileiras, como Claudia Andujar, Rosa Gauditano, Maureen Bisiliat, Nair Benedicto, Manuel Rodrigues Ferreira, Rodrigo Pretella, Jamie Stewart-Granger, entre outros.
