C& Programme de mentorat

The C& Mentoring Program invites young arts writers from Africa and the Global Diaspora to establish a mentor-student relationship with senior arts writers. Each mentee works on newly written texts with their mentor over a six-month period online. While developing their experiences and skills, the young critics receive a small stipend and the possibility of publishing in the online editorial sections of C& Magazine and C& AL Magazine.

C& Atelier d’écriture critique

Since 2016 C& has been facilitating three-day critical writing workshops for young art writers in cities such as Lagos, Nairobi, Lubumbashi, Harare, Luanda, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, Kingston, and Santo Domingo, as well as online. They explore critical art writing practices while addressing specific challenges young writers face in their local contexts. Local and international senior writers serve as instructors, providing opportunities to expand networks locally and internaionally. The workshops also launch sustainable relationships between C& and participants.
