DakartNews is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Editor to join the team for the duration of Dakar Biennial, happening from November 7 to December 7, 2024! DakartNews is a platform where art lovers, collectors, and culture enthusiasts can discover, explore, and engage with a variety of artworks, emerging and established artists, and the most happening contemporary art events in Dakar, Senegal. Additionally, it offers in-depth analyses to help our readers fully understand and appreciate African contemporary art.

Your Profile

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• You have familiarity with contemporary African art and culture (a plus)
• You have proven experience as a social media editor, blogger, content creator, or similar role, preferably in the arts and culture sector
• You have a degree in journalism, communications, marketing, art history, or a related field
• You are comfortable using and managing social media
