The Opening – Group Show

Affinity Art Gallery, a new gallery in Lagos, opens with its inaugural exhibition titled The Opening, showing works from the gallery's collection starting 6 December 2020 to 15 January 2021.
Visible inside the gallery's two-story space, this exhibition will include paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works from its existing collection of modern and contemporary art. The participating artists are Sam Ovraiti, Rufus Ogundele, Tony Enebeli, Jimoh Buraimoh, Bruce Onobrakpeya, Muraina Oyelami, Tola Wewe, Yomi Momoh, Ben Osawe, Bisi Fakeye, Amos Odion, Akachukwu Emeka, Segun Aiyesan, Toni Oshiame, Ebong Ekwere, Tega Akpokona, Emmanuel Eke- frey, Chike Obeagu, Tony Nsofor, Sokenu Abayomi, and Olaoluwa Qozeem Abdulrahman.
Established in 2017 and opened in 2020, Affinity Art Gallery is a Modern and Contemporary Art gallery, offering itself as a reliable liaison and performance space for the promotion and representation of artists, artistic exchange, cultur- al exchange, and gallery partnerships. The gallery's main objectives are cele- brating Nigeria's modern and contemporary artists and supporting emerging artists by enabling their projects through exhibitions, installations, and pres- entations.
