THAT ART FAIR

THAT ART FAIR

THAT ART FAIR is an inspired and curated event that serves as a platform for African artists who work under the radar of the traditional art establishment and who do things a little differently. As an initiative of ARTsouthAFRICA, THAT ART FAIR is committed to fostering a spirit of creativity, sustainability and positive change in the contemporary African art world.
Featuring photography, film, urban art, performance art, painting, Future Masters, comic art, Bright Young Things, THAT ART PARTY, The ART SuperMART and much more. THAT ART FAIR celebrates emerging, independent and established artistic talent and fringe arts.
THAT ART FAIR is a dynamic alternative to the traditional art fair model. Situated in the PALS Parkade, Salt River, on the edge of the Woodstock creative district, the urban location presents artists’ work in an affordable, accessible and unintimidating environment. THAT ART FAIR is taking place at the same time as Design Indaba and Cape Town Art Fair.
THAT ART FAIR is now open for submissions and proposals. Galleries, independent artists, designers and illustrators, publishers, filmmakers, performance artists, photographers, musicians and virtually any kind of innovative creative enterprise or collective are invited to apply.
