HOMMAGE À FRÉDÉRIC BRULY BOUABRÉ ET OKHAI OJEIKERE

Earlier this year the Ivorian visual artist Frédéric Bruly Bouabré (1923-2014) and the Nigerian photographer J.D. Okhai Ojeikere (1930-2014) have died just a few days apart.
These two great "elders" of Africa have engaged the imagination of this continent to contemporary art. The Palais de Tokyo pays tribute.
