Amelia Umuhire: Kana

Amelia Umuhire’s exhibition KANA transfers the contemporary influences of internet culture and transnational domesticity to recent historical narratives of collective precarization and political violence.

Amelia Umuhire was born in Rwanda, grew up in the Lower Rhine region and now works as a director and writer in Berlin. In 2015 she published the web series Polyglot, which was awarded several German and international prizes.
