On 03 May 2018 at 09:30 am: Official opening ceremony by His Excellency the President of the Republic to the National Grand Theater:
- Awards granted by the International Jury
- Opening exhibitions of national pavilions
On May 3, 2018 at 15 pm: start educational programs on the old palace site;
May 3, 2018 to 16 pm: Opening of the International Exhibition in the former palace of the Prime Minister;
May 3, 2018 to 19 pm: Opening of the exhibition “The Sacred Wood” on the Carousel Gallery
The May 4, 2018 at 9 am: Opening Ceremony of the Meetings and exchanges at UCAD,
May 4, 2018 to 15 pm: opening of the conference of Ministers of the African Culture on innovative financing for culture in Pullman
May 4, 2018 to 17 pm: Opening of the exhibition of guest curators at the Musée Théodore Monod sis instead Soweto.
The May 4, 2018 in the evening: First of Madiba Opera, the musical at the Grand Theater
On May 5, 2018 at 9 am: Following the workshops of meetings and exchanges Ifan Cheikh Anta Diop Museum Place Soweto;
On May 5, 2018 at 11 am opening of the House Museum Ousmane Sow to Yoff; Invitational.
May 5 at 13 am, opening of the exhibition Carte blanche to DARB the House Veterans’
On May 5, 2018 in the evening: Gala dinner with ministers and guests, by invitation
May 6 to 15 pm: Visit to the Museum Leopold Sedar Senghor
May 6 to 16 pm: My super kilometer of the canal Maw Tapée
May 7, 2018 to 17 pm: Opening of the Fode Camara exhibition at the National Gallery.
On 11 and 12 May 2018: Mega popular concerts with national and international stars on the old palace site; Permanent Animation Biennale Village, with many local talents; various performances throughout the Dakar region.
