Africana - Group Show

Every year, in the summer months Juli and August, numerous renowned artists come together in Arles to take part in one of the world’s most important photography festivals: Les Rencontres de la Photographie.

In this year’s opening week, Kehrer Gallery invites to it’s new pop up gallery in the picturesque Rue du Grand Prieuré. The exhibition »Africana« offers four exciting and diverse views on Africa, thanks to the colorful works of Malala Andrialavidrazana, Lebohang Kganye, Nicola Lo Calzo and Per-Anders Pettersson. From Juli 4th to Juli 8th, the prints will carry you off to an inspiring journey across the african continent!

On Wednesday, Juli 5th, the team from Kehrer welcomes you to a typical french apéro with the artists and their books. Starting at 6pm, there will be the possibility to enjoy good wine, great books and delightful conversations in a mediterranean atmosphere! Among others, Malala Andrialavidrazana, Peter Braunholz, Guillaume Bression & Carlos Ayesta, Nicola Lo Calzo, Katarina Skjønsberg, Per-Anders Pettersson, Newsha Tavakolian, Christopher Taylor and Sanne De Wilde will be presents.

Publications of the exhibiting artists as well as many further current photo books will be available.
