Waruguru’s work ranges from painting, drawing, printmaking, needlework and installation. Her work often appears abstract but they are a mix of memory and place. She draws from personal experience to create new landscapes which can often be memory or emotion scapes. They can be read as poetry, they invite you to look slowly, imagine and explore.</span>
