Goodman Gallery presents the exhibition Africans in America , co-curated by American artist Hank Willis Thomas and Goodman Gallery director Liza Essers from 17 November 2016 - 17 December 2016.
<b>The exhibition <b><i>Africans in America </i></b>is held across Goodman Gallery’s Johannesburg location and the Johannesburg Art Gallery. Together with it's partner exhibition </b><b>Where We Are at Goodmann Gallery in Cape Town<i>, <b><i>Africans in America</i></b> </i>is</b><b> presented in association with the major international conference </b>Black Portraiture[s] III: Reinventions: Strains of Histories and Cultures .
<b><b><i>Africans in America </i>is</b> part of In Context 2016, an ongoing curatorial series that the gallery initiated in 2010.</b>
