Herencias de un Brasil profundo

Exposición en el Museu Afro Brasil reúne obras de arte y objetos de diversos pueblos indígenas brasileños.

La exposición Herencias de un Brasil profundo, organizado por el Museu Afro Brasil con curadoría de Emanoel Araujo, reúne más de 500 objetos entre obras de arte y utensilios de la cultura material indígena de raiz brasileña. Hacen parte de la muestra, además de obras de arte contemporánea, adornos, máscaras y utensílios de diversos pueblos indígenas como: Karajá, Marubo, Kayapó, Mehinako, Yanomami, Rikbaktsa, Tapirapé, Waurá, Tapayuna, Baniwa, Ashaninka, Parakanã, Panará y Juruna.

Herencias de un Brasil profundo presenta además el trabajo de fotógrafos que documentan poblaciones indígenas brasileñas, como Claudia Andujar, Rosa Gauditano, Maureen Bisiliat, Nair Benedicto, Manuel Rodrigues Ferreira, Rodrigo Pretella, Jamie Stewart-Granger, entre otros.
