61a Bienal de Venecia: el Arsenale y los Giardini

El proyecto para esta edición de la Bienal de Venecia fue desarrollado por la curadora Koyo Kouoh (1967–2025) y se enfoca en la metáfora musical de las tonalidades menores (Minor Keys), aludiendo a sonidos tranquilos, frecuencias bajas, zumbidos, el consuelo de la poesía y todas las otras apacibles creaciones artísticas.

Según Kouoh, las tonalidades menores también representan “pequeñas islas, mundos en medio de océanos con ecosistemas diferentes e infinitamente ricos, y vidas sociales articuladas con formas políticas y desafíos ecológicos muchos más amplios”. La muestra convocó a 111 participantes de distintas geografías y regiones para explorar ese concepto. En esta Installation View, resaltaremos la obra de artistas latinoamericanes y caribeñes que pueden verse en la muestra del Arsenal y los Giardini.
