Simon Njami
Simon Njami is a Cameroonian-born writer, curator, and cultural theorist, widely recognized for his influential role in shaping contemporary African art discourse. He is the co-founder of Revue Noire, a journal dedicated to contemporary African and diaspora art, and has curated numerous major international exhibitions, including multiple editions of the Dakar Biennale and the acclaimed exhibition Africa Remix. Njami served as the artistic director of the 2016 and 2018 editions of the Dak’Art Biennale, and has been a key figure in mentoring emerging artists and curators across the continent.
