The exhibition Sample brings together a selection of works that are varyingly informed by the movement of people, both actual and imagined, and the possibilities that open up when elements of cultural identity can be swapped, shared and sampled at will. The installation features a work combining Yemi Awosile's innovative textile design with Emeka Ogboh's vivid Lagos soundscape, shown alongside intimate photographic portraiture by Karl Ohiri. Sample is organized by A Sequence of Events with support from Yevu clothing. Address: 2nd Floor Gallery, 20 Coronet Street, London N1 6HW Dates: 9-26 October 2014 Opening night: 9 October 6-9pm Open daily: 10am-7pm
