The 5th edition of the Biennale  – Les Rencontres d’Arts Visuels de Yaoundé (RAVY), which will run until 31 July 2016 in Cameroon, will present exhibitions, workshops, symposia, performances and talks.

Under this year’s theme “Contemporalités“, 31 Cameroonian and foreign artists will participate in the Biennale to be held in various locations including the Goethe Institut Kamerun, l’Othni Laboratoire de théâtre, le Musée la Blackitude, Kia motor(Nlongkak), Street corner (Rond point Nlongkak), la rue de Mvog Ada (face collège Ndi samba)and the Kennedy Avenue.

RAVY is an international visual arts festival that takes place every two years in the Cameroonian capital. For a week, the people of Yaoundé live “live” artistic interventions of any kind, in public places, galleries, museum institutions and independent cultural spaces, taking the form of performances and other exhibitions.
